Viruses in May, is now in its 6th year and is Australia’s only meeting focused specifically on the clinical, diagnostic and management aspects of viral infections.  Sponsorship is sought to ensure the continued success of the meeting and to provide for registration and travel grants.

Viruses in May has rapidly come to enjoy an excellent reputation and will attract 90+ key pathologists, microbiologists, infectious disease physicians and general practitioners, as well as registrars in these disciplines and members of the scientific community, from Australia and overseas.

Viruses in May is recognised as accredited continuing education by the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia and the Royal Australasian College General Practitioners, thus continuing education and registration points are awarded to Fellows attending.

2009 Preliminary Scientific Program themes are:

• Congenital Infection, Paediatric Infection and Vaccination

• Blood Borne Viruses and Hepatitis
